It was naive, but not long ago it seemed possible to simply believe in progress and trust that things would always get better. It didn’t demand much from us, just faith that things would keep moving forward. But times have changed. These days, progress takes more than belief. It takes real perseverance and sacrifice.

Recycling and reuse, especially the kind that goes beyond what’s convenient, is one of those efforts. It’s not glamorous, and it doesn’t bring an immediate reward. It’s rooted in selflessness and in the understanding that each of us has a role.

As 2025 and our third full year comes to a close with nearly 1,000 Triangle members, know that you are not alone. While we hope to be on the path of renewal, we stay ready for whatever 2026 brings.

ReCo News for December!

Image

We’re expanding across central North Carolina. Burlington and Mebane can signup now to start recollecting in December.  Greensboro and Charlotte are coming in the Spring (or whenever we get enough pre-signups). Expansion helps more people recycle and keeps more stuff out of the landfill. ReCo needs to continue to grow to be a sustainable operation for the long run.

Add-Ons let you include #1 and #5 plastics, paper for shredding, latex paint, fluorescent tubes, printers, and Fillaree Soap Refills. Just add them to your next pickup in the Member Dashboard Shop. A small fee covers recycling costs and keeps the service accessible.
